The wrinkle filler, for instance, makes even deep lines less visible, and its effects last through the day without requiring constant reapplication. Similarly, the anti-aging serums such as the SeaCreation Concentrate and the HSR Lifting Serum produce marked results in the volume and suppleness of skin within just a few treatments.
While there is concern among some product reviewers concerning the lack of information regarding the ingredients that go into Babor anti-aging complexes, most agree that the natural ingredients cited in each product have been shown to produce results in various studies.
Especially appealing to most consumers is the emphasis on natural ingredients, which means that Babor products are almost always gentle on the skin, easy to use and are also designed to be cleanly absorbed by the skin so that the familiar, irritating white film of most other topical applications doesn’t occur here. | | | | The flip-side | While Babor has certainly established itself at the very top of the topical anti-aging solutions ladder, this line of products has still not managed to position itself as a viable alternative to surgery or injectable interventions. Babor’s products are largely useful for those consumers looking for results over the short term. Even the longer lasting serums cannot quite match products such as Botox or Restylane, and require constant reapplication for visible results to last.
This need for constant reapplication becomes especially problematic due to the high price of Babor products. Even the Wrinkle Filler, by far one of the cheapest products in the anti-aging line, lies in the upper price band of similar products in the market. With the longer-lasting solutions such as the SeaCreation Concentrate, the price jump becomes even more apparent. And while Babor products may produce visible results, their high price may mean that consumers would rather look at cheaper multifunctional products that fit into their frugal budgets.
Simply put, Babor products are restricted to consumers with relatively deeper pockets, and even here, their use is curtailed by the high cost of each application. Still, for those who can afford it, Babor’s products do provide a potent weapon against wrinkles, albeit not as potent a weapon as the makers claim. | | |
